Webinar: The Fundamentals: Fulfilling the FCC’s Annual CPNI Training Requirement 2024
All telecommunications carriers providing voice services must certify by March 1 of each year that their employees have been trained or refreshed on the basics of the Federal Communication Commission’s (FCC’s) customer proprietary network information (CPNI) rules.
To help you quickly and easily satisfy this annual requirement, JSI will be hosting a live, approximately 60-minute CPNI training: “The Fundamentals: Fulfilling the FCC’s Annual CPNI Training Requirement,” on Thursday, January 25, 2024, at 2:00 pm (ET).
During this training session, the JSI team will:
- Review the CPNI rules and how to adapt them to modern communications networks so that sensitive customer information does not end up in the wrong hands.
- Discuss “hot off the press” changes to CPNI rules that expand the definition of a “breach” of CPNI to include inadvertent access of personally identifiable information.
- Discuss the FCC’s proposed net neutrality rule changes that would once again bring ISPs under telecom privacy rules and when those rules might go into effect.
All employees who have access to customer account information, particularly customer service representatives, as well as any senior employees who are interested in a refresher course on the CPNI compliance rules should attend this training program. As these CPNI rules apply to all voice providers, electric cooperatives, and fixed wireless providers offering voice services to their customers would also benefit from this program.
Companies that either register for the live program or purchase a recording for later viewing will receive a training certificate document for employees to sign, affirming that they have completed the CPNI training program.
The registration cost for this webinar is $295 per company. If you will be unable to attend our live program, then you can purchase a recording of this webinar for viewing at a later date by contacting JSI’s Marketing Department, which you can do by simply clicking here or by calling 301-459-7590.
