John Staurulakis Inc. (JSI) again will offer its popular Part 32 & Part 64 Accounting Seminar and its acclaimed Separations & Access Seminar on consecutive days in the same location to enable clients to attend either or both of the sessions. The seminars run independently of each other, but attendees can register for the dual seminar set at a reduced rate.
The 2010 "dual seminar set" will be offered as follows:
Accounting -
* Tues., Nov. 9, Renaissance Nashville Hotel/Nashville Convention Center
Separations & Access -
* Wed.-Fri., Nov. 10-12, Renaissance Nashville Hotel/Nashville Convention Center
JSI's Accounting Seminar provides a detailed review and explanation of the FCC's Part 32 and Part 64 accounting principles and applications. Steve Meltzer, JSI's senior vice president, and Brian Sullivan, vice president, will discuss and analyze specific issues raised by recent FCC changes to the Part 32 accounting system and by increased regulatory scrutiny of the Part 64 allocation mechanisms. The seminar also will cover the USAC-OIG audits.
The JSI 2010 Separations and Access Seminar will feature increased emphasis on responding to today's broadband network and services, in addition to its usual assessment of cost settlements, regulated and non-regulated allocations, jurisdictional categorizations, access procedures, and intercarrier compensation.
Additional information and online registration for the seminars are now available on the JSI website at http://www.jsitel.com/65/accounting_and_sa_seminars. Attendees who register for both seminars receive a discount, and there is an additional $100 savings for early-bird registration, before September 1.
