JSI also tries to be a good corporate citizen by contributing to worthy causes both nationally and locally. In 2009, JSI made nearly $90,000 in donations to a number of charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society, the Children's Cancer Foundation, Fisher House Foundation, the Children's National Medical Center, the Wounded Warrior Project and the Johns Hopkins Scleroderma Center.
In addition, JSI's employees are very active in their communities and have raised money for charities close to their hearts. Recently employees participated in the Salvation Army's Angel Tree program, walks for the American Cancer Society and a Christmas wish list program for soldiers and their families at Fort Hood, Texas.
