As competition grows more ingrained, Local Number Portability (LNP) is becoming part of everyday operations for most telecom providers. In fact, as a result of the FCC’s LNP order, intermodal porting is a reality for all telecom providers. Clients using the online system are provided a username and password, and client data is secured from viewing by any other company .
